Ingredients included in the Box:
- Butter Lettuce
- English Cucumber
- Carrots 1 kg
- Strawberries 250 g
- Tomatoes English 1 kg
- Blueberries 125 g
- Onions Red 1 kg
- Spring Onions White 100 g
- Garlic whole clove
- Citrus lemon 4's
- Chia Seeds 30 g
Dressing for salad
- Clove of garlic crushed into a paste
- Tsp Dijon mustard (Added Seperately)
- Tsp honey (Added Separately)
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 100 ml olive oil (Added Separately)
- 50 ml sunflower oil (Added Separately)
Seasoned to taste
Ingredients for salad
- Butter Lettuce
- Cucumber Grated
- Shaved Carrots
- Chopped Strawberries
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Spring onion
- Chia seeds 30g
In a bowl, using a whisk, mix the 100 ml olive oil, 50 ml sunflower oil, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey, teaspoon of dijon mustard and the crushed garlic clove.
Keep whisking as you pour the ingredients into the bowl.
Whisk everything together to maintain a good consistency.
Now onto the main salad. Make sure all of your ingredients have been chopped and are ready to be mixed in a large salad bowl.
First coat the lettuce with the dressing in a separate bowl, then move the coated lettuce leaves into your salad dish.
Add the cucumber, carrots, strawberries, gooseberries, tomatoes, onion, spring onion and blueberries to the bowl and mix them with the salad dressing.
Once done add them individually to the salad dish.
Finally Sprinkle Chia seeds over the salad.
